As educators, we are always looking for ways to enhance our teaching methods and engage our students more effectively. Team i2e created three new Learn modules to help educators everywhere learn how to integrate their learning management systems with Teams assignments.  

Microsoft Teams Assignments offers works with learning management systems (LMS) like Blackboard, Canvas, and Schoology. Through Teams Assignments, educators can utilize tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Class Notebook, and even Learning Accelerators like Reading Progress and Math Progress. Schools that are using an LMS as their primary content delivery system are missing out on incredible, interactive, AI-powered technology if they only allow core product features. Adding the integration with Teams assignments enhances the learning experience for students but also saves educators time in data analysis and file management. 

One of the most exciting aspects of these integrations is the seamless connection between different platforms. Educators using Canvas can easily share resources, track student performance, and collaborate with groups, all from a single interface. For example, adding the OneDrive LTI ® to Canvas LMS allows educators and students to access and share files effortlessly. This not only saves time but also ensures that students have access to the most up-to-date materials. Additionally, thanks to grade pass back, educators can enter grades in Teams assignments and see them appear in the LMS gradebook! 

These integrations are designed to support personalized learning. By leveraging data analytics, we can gain insights into our students' learning patterns and tailor our instruction to meet their individual needs. This means that we can provide targeted support to students who are struggling, while also challenging those who are excelling. The ability to customize learning experiences in this way is a game-changer for educators, as it allows us to create a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.
