Training description:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training equips educators to positively impact communities and bridge gaps that stand in the way of student success. Examples of digital tools to support student discussions around equity are showcased.
Virtual Training Options:
- Keynotes range from inclusion, organizational culture, cultural relevance, culturally responsive, equity, antibias, antiracism, technology, media, literacy, and design. Specific keynote or newly designed keynote would be determined based upon client needs.
- One hour sessions range from similar topics as the keynotes with a greater emphasis on interactivity, specifically set learning outcomes, and calls to action.
- 90-minute workshops all delve much more deeply into Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion topics. Workshops include problem-based learning design, anti-bias, anti-racism, examining microaggressions, curriculum analysis, policy analysis, culturally responsive leadership, identity, examining systems of privilege, and personal growth.
- 3 hour workshops expand upon the content covered in a 90 minute session with potentially added material relevant to client needs and desired growth.
