Why esports?

From increased academic engagement to building life skills like collaboration and critical thinking, esports invokes a plethora of positive effects on students in participating schools. Esports programs create a community environment for students who may not be interested in existing extra-curricular programs and can provide a safe place for students who have felt excluded from other activities.
Why educators love this handbook
There is so much unknown for school districts when considering an esports program. They are overwhelmed at the beginning and often drown in information. Having a centralized handbook that outlines the basics, where they are free from persuasion, is incredibly important for them when considering their needs/wants from a program.
This handbook is an essential tool and reference guide to assist a leader on any experience level interested in starting an esports program in a K-12 environment.
