Presenters
Danica Botts
Danica Botts launched her career in education in 2006 as an eighth grade history teacher in Louisiana. Her success in the classroom led her to positions as department chair, curriculum writer, and four years as a digital learning coach for grades K–12. Although she’s now out of the classroom, her passion for education has never wavered or weakened.
Her foundation in instruction and in administration, combined with her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Educational Technology from Houston Baptist University, steered her to a position as instructional designer at Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston, Texas, where she collaborates with a team of education specialists and designers to create relevant, compelling, and dynamic professional development courses and products for teachers, administrators, and students.

Victoria Thompson
Victoria Thompson is an Education Industry Executive at Microsoft, an instructional designer for EduSpark, and an ISTE Ambassador. She has been in education for seven years and began her journey teaching fifth and sixth grade math and science in Summerville, SC. After completing her masters degree in curriculum and instruction she moved to the Seattle, WA area in 2018, where her career has pivoted to focusing on digital transformation, STEM integration in schools, technology in instruction, and using technology to bridge equity gaps in education. She has presented at ISTE, FETC, TCEA, ImpactEducation, CUE, and DigCitSummit on topics such as creating inclusive math classrooms, culturally responsive STEM education, and equity in educational technology. Additionally, she was recently awarded the title of one of the top 30 K-12 IT influencers in 2021 by EdTech Magazine.
Scott Bricker
Scott Bricker is the founder of AweFull Learning, an organization aimed at revolutionizing education across the US through a refocusing on the awe, wonder, and curiosity that make lifelong learning the driving force in our world. An experienced speaker and presenter, Scott loves sharing thought-provoking ideas to audiences everywhere and motivating attendees to reflect & focus on the “WHY” behind everything they do, especially as it pertains to learning & teaching.
After 22 wonderful years in the classroom and around the school campus, Scott now focuses on being an EDU Changemaker across the country and he looks forward to sharing his passion and goals for education with as many students, teachers, and schools as possible. Scott is the co-host of the vodcast “Live w/US Microsoft EDU” and also a co-host of The Teacher Connection webinar series. He is an active member in the MIE-Expert & Showcase School Communities, is an MIEE Fellow, and also a former Microsoft Showcase School Leader.
Paul “Lanny” Watkins
Paul (or Lanny as he is better known by) is a teacher of ICT and Computing from Wales, UK. An award-winning teacher, currently in his 17h year as a teacher, has been actively involved in the mentoring and coaching of trainee teachers for many of those years. Passionate about supporting colleagues and global learning, Lanny currently supports teachers in Wales as Lead MIE Fellow, having also previously served on Welsh Government’s National Digital Learning Council.
Kimberly West
Dr. Kimberly West is an education thought leader working with school districts and technology corporations around the world. Her work focuses on instructional leadership and policy design, centered on redefining what teaching and learning look like in the modern classroom. A vital part of this is the role technology plays in equity and access to quality education for all students. She was a National Board Certified K-12 educator and content designer for professional learning. She is also a Certified Clifton Strengths Coach. Becky Keene
Becky Keene advises on best practices for supporting education around the world. She is responsible for coordinating our team of education thought leaders. Becky ensures that all of our programs, projects, and people are aligned to our client’s goals and delivered with excellence. She is a National Board Certified Teacher, ISTE Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Microsoft Certified Educator, and author of the book Sail the 7 Cs with Microsoft Education (available on Amazon). Prior to her position with us, Becky was a One-to-One Program Specialist for Kent School District in WA for nine years and an elementary and middle school classroom teacher. She has supported, trained, coached, and advocated for teachers around the world. Because of her excellence as a professional learning facilitator, Becky has been a top request to lead both local and international events for Microsoft in Education. All sessions are delivered by i2e’s professional learning specialists, educators from around the United States who are experts in their field, and friends of i2e that have specific experience and knowledge to support the topics being delivered.

What is an event like?
CEU Offer
Earn Graduate Credit Hours with Professional Development Workshops
i2e has partnered with MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) to provide participants with graduate college hours for trainings attended. MNU is an affordable way for educators to earn credits.
Once a workshop is completed, participants will receive an email with all the information needed to enroll and complete the process of earning MNU credit.
- For every six-hour training opportunity, there is the option to earn 0.5 college graduate hours.
- Each 1/2 credit costs $45. All classwork and payment is completed online through MNU.
- All classwork is due seven days after the initial training and will be sent directly to MNU.

You will be added to a Microsoft Team and a video with written instructions will be sent to you the week prior to the first live event so that you can be sure you have access and understand how to find all the valuable resources throughout the event.
These are all interactive sessions with the presenter and participants being invited to use the chat as well as interact before and after in the event Microsoft Team. You will also have access to the Microsoft Team for the next year for this event with an opportunity to chat with other participants, join small group calls, and join us for future resources and sessions as well!
